Bruce County is ready to launch a brand new millwright coaching program aimed toward strengthening its workforce and selling range throughout the expert trades.
The “Introduction to Millwrighting” (ITM) program, a joint effort by the Millwright Regional Council, Bruce Energy, and Construct a Dream, will start on November 11, 2024 with an occasion on the Nuclear Innovation Institute Advance Expertise Campus on Farrell Drive in Tiverton.
The ITM program is tailor-made to bridge workforce gaps in Bruce County by equipping members with abilities in millwrighting, a commerce essential to sustaining industrial equipment and significant infrastructure. With Canada dealing with a projected scarcity of expert trades employees, this initiative is predicted to offer each native financial growth and a pipeline of certified expertise to Midwestern Ontario.
