Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has introduced extra funding for his using following an increase in Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund cash.

The provincial authorities just lately introduced that OMPF funding could be getting a rise of $100 million over two years, bringing the entire funding by OMPF to $600 million by 2026 for municipalities throughout the province.

With the rise, municipalities in Perth-Wellington will probably be sharing a further $785,400 this yr, in accordance with a launch from Rae.

For 2025, there will probably be a further $50 million {split} between 390 municipalities and one other extra $50 million in 2026 by the OMPF.
