Ontario’s Well being Minister made the journey to Minto Thursday to announce new internationally educated household physicians are starting to apply drugs in rural and northern communities.

Sylvia Jones, Minister of Well being, touted the authorities’s Apply Prepared Ontario program, which was launched in 2023. This system quickens the licensing course of for foreign-trained medical doctors, which has allowed the Minto-Mapleton Household Well being Workforce to convey a brand new doctor, Dr. Narah Luzinga, into their ranks.
