Organizers are hoping to see extra individuals attend Concord’s haunted home, positioned this yr at an outdated church close to downtown Sarnia.

The haunted home opened on October 4 and can proceed working on weekends till October 27.

“Everyone who has gone by it has come again and mentioned how fantastic it’s this yr, which we’re so happy [with],” mentioned Concord for Youth President Paul Kearney.

He mentioned they’ve seen about 50 to 60 friends per evening, which is decrease than earlier occasions.

“We aren’t a splatter home, we’re not a gore home. Our concept is to take you out of your consolation zone and provide you with a very nice scare,” Kearney mentioned.

Reside actors can be stationed all through the haunted home.

“If somebody makes use of our secure phrase, which is ‘concord’ then all of our actors will freeze, giving them the chance to undergo and see all of the units and every thing,” mentioned Kearney.

The haunted home can be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. till 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 6 p.m. till 9 p.m. The church is positioned on the nook of George Road and Brock Road.

The admission payment is $15 per individual or $60 per household. Cash raised will assist Concord for Youth, an area group providing musical programming to youth between the ages of 12 and 18.

Concord’s haunted home returned final yr after a quick hiatus.

Kearney mentioned the group is at present operating guitar and keyboard packages, and intends to restart their choir in November.
