The Coldest Night of the Year event keeps gaining momentum in Midwestern Ontario, with Goderich’s event already reaching 64 percent of its $150,000 target.

So far, Goderich’s event has brought in over $96,000. United Way Perth Huron reports that this annual walk has ranked among the top 30 walks across Canada for the past three years.

All funds raised remain within local communities to help maintain and enhance essential services that assist those most in need. In Huron County, donations support the Huron Homelessness Initiative.

There are also walks planned in Auburn, Clinton, and Seaforth within Huron County, along with several events happening throughout other areas in Midwestern Ontario.

You can visit cnoy. org to sign up or donate to the Coldest Night of the Year event happening near you.
