Chatham resident wins $100K with Lotto Max Encore

Chatham resident wins $100K with Lotto Max Encore

A retired healthcare skilled from Chatham plans to journey south of the border along with his spouse after profitable $100,000 within the Lotto Max draw on the finish of October.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Company (OLG) stated Gordon Milak of Chatham matched the final six of seven Encore numbers in actual order within the October 25, 2024 Lotto Max draw.

In response to the OLG, Milak is an occasional lottery participant and picks up a Lotto Max or Lotto 6/49 Fast Choose ticket with Encore now and again when he stops for gasoline.

Milak stated he is thrilled along with his current massive win!

“I was at the grocery store when I scanned my LOTTO MAX ticket using the ticket checker. Seeing the prize amount was a bit surreal,” Milak recalled, whereas visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to select up his winnings. “When OLG called to confirm my win, the store staff were just as excited as I was!”

Milak said his wife didn’t believe it at first when he shared the good news with her.

“As soon as I left the store, I shared the good news with my wife. She asked me if it was a joke,” he laughed. “When she realized it was true, she was stunned. I feel very fortunate. Winning has been a great experience. From the call at the store to the staff at the OLG Prize Centre, everyone has been courteous and professional.”

The profitable ticket was bought at Mobil @ Actual Canadian Superstore on St. Clair Road in Chatham.
