Two arrests have been made and dozens of charges have been laid following a 10-month-long human trafficking investigation.
Dubbed Undertaking Nebula, the Provincial Human Trafficking Intelligence-led Joint Forces Technique (IJFS) investigation spanned southern Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) mentioned two people have been arrested in Ottawa on July 9, 2024. A forty five-year-old from Brampton, Ontario and a 33-year-old from Sydney, Nova Scotia face a complete of 36 human trafficking and human trafficking-related charges.
