Police seized over $500,000 value of medication and weapons in a bust at Walpole Island First Nation.
On Friday, October 18, members of the Lambton OPP Neighborhood Avenue Crime Unit (CSCU), Elgin-Middlesex CSCU, West Area OPP Techniques and Rescue Unit, OPP Emergency Response Group, Canine Unit and Walpole Island Police Service searched a house on Union Corridor Highway.
Officers seized a big amount of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, in addition to firearms, money and different offence associated gadgets.
Police mentioned 33-year-old Emerson Sands, 29-year-old Walter Sands, 58-year-old Donald Peters, and 25-year-old Megan Shipman, all from Walpole Island First Nation, have been charged with possession for the aim of trafficking and careless storage of a firearm or prohibited weapon.
Emerson Sands can be charged with failing to adjust to a probation order.
