Video reveals armed house invasion in Richmond Hill, youth charged

A young person has been charged and three different suspects are needed following an armed house invasion in Richmond Hill that was captured on video surveillance.

York Regional Police (YRP) officers mentioned in a press release they responded to a house invasion within the space of Orlon Crescent and Claridge Drive, close to Yonge Avenue and Freeway 407, at round 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Video launched by YRP reveals three male suspects, with at the very least one among them armed with a knife, smashing the entrance door’s glass and getting into the house. The suspects allegedly stole objects from the residence, together with a white Mercedes G-Wagon.

Investigators mentioned they later positioned the stolen car within the space of Britannia Highway West and Whitehorn Highway in Mississauga. At round 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, a suspect was taken into custody after trying to take off on foot.

On Monday, at round 6:45 a.m., officers mentioned a bunch of suspects returned to the sufferer’s residence and used automotive keys taken throughout the house invasion to steal a Mercedes AMG GT63S from the driveway. Investigators mentioned they’ve since recovered this car.

No accidents had been reported.

A 17-year-old male from Markham was charged with theft with a weapon, disguise with intent, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and driving a motorcar with out a licence.

The male in custody was not recognized as a result of Youth Felony Justice Act.

Police described the three different suspects as male, 18 to 25 years outdated and having slim builds. A suspect was final seen carrying a gray FILA sweater, whereas the 2 others had been seen carrying black-and-brown hoodies. One was armed with a hammer whereas one other was armed with a knife. All of them wore black pants.
