Police have launched new video footage that seems to indicate two suspects utilizing Molotov cocktails to begin a hearth inside a Richmond Hill cinema whereas movie-goers have been nonetheless inside.
The incident occurred at a cinema close to East Beaver Creek Highway and Freeway 7 at round 11:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Within the video launched by police, two suspects are seen arriving on the theatre in a gray SUV after which strolling into its foyer.
One of many suspects then locations a bag on the bottom beside some film posters.
At that time, each suspects mild what look like Molotov cocktails and toss them on the bag, inflicting it to ignite.
The suspects then run out of the theatre and get into the awaiting SUV, which speeds away from the scene.
The entire incident unfolds in roughly 22 seconds.
Police say that the sprinkler system was activated and extinguished the hearth.

Police say that the automobile that the suspect arrived in is a gray Acura RDX that was reported stolen in Toronto two days prior.
Police say the primary suspect had a medium construct and was final seen sporting black footwear, black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt beneath, black gloves and a masks.
The second suspect can also be described as having a medium construct. He was final seen sporting white footwear, black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a masks.
Police are urging anybody with details about the incident to return ahead.
