Police have launched video of a pair of suspects setting a Richmond Hill film theatre ablaze over the weekend and are asking for the general public’s assist to trace them down.

The fireplace occurred Sunday within the space of East Beaver Creek and Freeway 7, the place police have been known as at about 11:10 p.m. Nobody was injured however there have been individuals on the second ground, York Regional Police mentioned in a information launch on Tuesday.

Safety digital camera footage launched by police seems to point out a gray SUV stopping in entrance of the film theatre’s major entrance.

Two individuals get out of the automobile, stroll by way of the doorway, throw a bag on the ground, then toss in what seem like Molotov cocktails. The pair then sprint out the door as a hearth breaks out.

The getaway automobile, a gray Acura RDX with the Ontario licence plate DCKP 812, was reported stolen in Toronto on Oct. 28, in response to police.

Police describe each suspects as having medium builds. The primary suspect was sporting black footwear, black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt beneath, black gloves and a masks.

The second suspect was sporting white footwear, black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a masks.

Anybody with info is urged to name York Regional Police or depart a tip with Crime Stoppers.
