Richmond Hill labour dispute ends with renewal of collective settlement

All metropolis providers affected by the strike will resume regular operations on Thursday, Dec. 12, together with all ice pads

CITY OF RICHMOND HILL

The Metropolis of Richmond Hill is happy {that a} renewal collective settlement with CUPE 905, the union representing greater than 200 of our staff, has been ratified.

This three-year collective settlement ends the CUPE 905 labour disruption.

The collective settlement consists of wage will increase of:


April 1, 2024 — 3.75 per cent
April 1, 2025 — 3.5 per cent
April 1, 2026 — three per cent

Along with wage will increase, adjustments to the worker profit plan embrace the next:


Will increase to paramedical and psychological providers
Will increase in imaginative and prescient care
Will increase in dental care

All metropolis providers affected by the strike will resume regular operations on Thursday, Dec. 12, together with all ice pads. Go to RichmondHill.ca for metropolis info.
