The Metropolis of Richmond Hill is growing neighborhood enchancment plan for inexpensive housing and sustainable design to ascertain monetary applications to incentivize extra inexpensive and sustainably designed housing.

Richmond Hill residents and the event neighborhood are invited to a digital open home Tuesday, June 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. and an in-person and digital council assembly Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. to be taught extra about how this plan can present extra inexpensive housing choices for residents and the way sustainable design will intention to enhance our surroundings, a metropolis information launch said.

Attendees will even have the chance to share their concepts.

“Many Richmond Hill residents are experiencing housing affordability challenges and local weather change is bringing extra extreme climate that disrupts our neighborhood and our surroundings,” the town said.
