York Regional Police launched an investigation into the “FunGuyz Magic Mushrooms” retailer on Yonge Avenue and Centre Avenue in March 2024, following neighborhood members’ complaints.
Two individuals have been arrested and recognized as 26-year-old Shaniece Peters of Toronto and 23-year-old Michal Goldenberg of Vaughan. Each have been charged with trafficking a managed substance and possession for the aim of trafficking.
