A Richmond Hill man has been charged with second-degree homicide, York Regional Police say, after the dying of his seven-week-old little one.
In a information launch Thursday, investigators mentioned that again in January, York Youngsters’s Support Society flagged the case of a kid who had been taken to hospital in Toronto.
“The seven-week-old toddler had important accidents which couldn’t be defined by their dad and mom,” the information launch reads. The infant then died on Jan. 18, three days after hospitalization.
The toddler’s father, a 30-year-old Richmond Hill man, was subsequently charged with second-degree homicide on Oct. 23.
Police didn’t present another details about what occurred. The person is predicted to seem in court docket later this month.
