An 84-year-old woman is deceased after being struck by a faculty bus in Richmond Hill that fled the scene.
The collision occurred Tuesday on Yonge Road north of Silverwood Avenue.
York Regional Police have been known as round 3 p.m. a couple of pedestrian that had been hit by a faculty bus.
When officers arrived, they discovered the lady with a head damage and that the bus had left the scene, a information launch says.
The lady was taken to an area hospital and later transported to a trauma centre, when her accidents have been decided to be extra severe.
She remained in hospital and died from her accidents Wednesday.
Police say the motive force of the varsity bus has been recognized and the investigation is ongoing.
