York regional police are on the lookout for 5 suspects concerned with a violent theft Monday afternoon at a jewellery retailer in Richmond Hill.
Officers say at round 4 p.m. 4 suspects entered a jewellery retailer within the space of Yonge Road and Carrville Street demanding money. In addition they say a fifth suspect was ready in a stolen Nissan Maxima whereas the theft happened.
Investigators say one suspect allegedly assaulted an worker whereas the opposite three smashed open jewellery show instances. The suspects then allegedly stole a amount of jewellery and fled within the awaiting Nissan, which was later recovered by police.
Detectives say the worker suffered minor accidents because of the assault.
Police say one suspect is a white man, who was carrying a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
They describe the opposite three suspects who entered the shop as Black males, all carrying black clothes.
Investigators say every suspect was carrying masks and gloves.
Officers say they don’t have an outline of the suspect ready within the stolen automotive.
