EGANVILLE — A 76-year-old man driving a bike died in a daytime collision with a farm tractor at a rural intersection 15 km north of Eganville on Sept. 26.
The crash occurred round 4 p.m. The Renfrew motorcyclist collided with a tractor because it entered the freeway from Walsh Highway — a facet street. The motorcyclist was transported to hospital the place he died a short while later.
Police say the tractor operator, an area 63-year-old man from North Algona Wilberforce Township, was not injured. A supply conversant in the accident advised Farmers Discussion board that he’s a beef farmer.
