Drug Trafficking Bust in Ottawa Leads to 10 Arrests

Drug Trafficking Bust in Ottawa Leads to 10 Arrests

Provincial police took down a significant drug operation, charging 10 individuals with numerous offenses in Ottawa and nearby areas.

The investigation kicked off in late 2024, spearheaded by the Ontario Provincial Police’s (OPP) guns and gangs team. It began in the capital city and involved collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec, Ottawa Police Service, Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau, and Canada Border Services Agency.

Multiple law enforcement agencies conducted six search warrants at homes located in Ottawa, Gatineau, and Renfrew, Ontario. Three vehicles were also searched during the operation.

A total of drugs valued at approximately $113,000, along with cash and firearms were seized from these locations.

Additional items collected include:

Two firearms About 1.17 kg of suspected cocaine Approximately 8 g of suspected fentanyl More than 150 pregabalin tablets Over 390 alprazolam tablets More than 100 hydromorphone tablets $187,419 in Canadian currency Two vehicles linked to the offenses Nine cell phones Digital scales Pepper spray Luxury watches and jewelry Two money counters Packaging materials

The ten individuals charged face various offenses including obtaining property over $5,000 through crime as well as drug and firearm charges related to trafficking. The ages of those accused range from 27 to 65.

Police have arrested:

Adil Omer of Ottawa – 5 charges Nancy Said of Gatineau – 12 charges Sadek Mansour of Ottawa – 9 charges Daniel Sickman of Ottawa – 6 charges Micheal Belgalki of Ottawa – 6 charges Kimberly Deluca of Ottawa – 6 charges Todd Megrath of Renfrew – 6 charges Sherra Lynn White of Renfrew – 4 charges Elizabeth Roche of Renfrew – 2 charges Jordan Newton of Renfrew – 2 charges
