Driver lost control of bike, according to OPP’s preliminary findings

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash in a township west of Ottawa on Saturday.
The driver, from Cambridge, Ont., was headed east on Palmer Road in the Township of Brudenell Lyndoch and Raglan when he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from the bike, the OPP said of its preliminary findings in a release issued Monday.
The collision happened about 60 kilometres west by south west of Renfrew, Ont., and about 135 kilometres west of Ottawa.
The road was closed temporarily to examine the scene but has since been reopened.
