Advance voting spots are opening today all over the province, letting Ontarians vote before the June 2 election.

The early voting period will last until May 28, with polling places operating from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m.

Elections Ontario states that you’ll need to show ID to an election official when you arrive at an advance polling station to confirm that you’re on the registered voters list.

If you’re not listed, the election official will add your name and ask you to sign a declaration. After that, you’ll receive your ballot.
