Authorities are searching for several suspects after a firearm was discharged into a parked vehicle at a Pickering business on Friday night.

Durham Police arrived at the scene of the shooting near Brock Road and Bayly Street just after 10 p. m. on Friday. According to police, the suspects had been inside the business and fired a gun in the parking lot shortly after leaving.

When officers reached the location, they discovered a car with a bullet hole, but the suspects had already escaped.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and investigators believe this incident is likely isolated.

If anyone has cellphone footage, dashcam recordings, or any information regarding this event, they’re encouraged to reach out to D/Cst. Singh of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 3962.

Tipsters can also submit anonymous tips to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting www. durhamregionalcrimestoppers. ca where they may qualify for a cash reward.
