A motorcyclist faces impaired driving and different charges following a crash north of Peterborough, Ont. early Sunday.
Peterborough County OPP say simply after midnight officers responded to a report of a crash on Buckhorn Street in Selwyn Township wherein a motorcyclist was believed to be on the bottom.
Officers positioned a mud bike on the shoulder of the street and one other individual aiding the rider.

The dust bike rider was transported to the Peterborough Regional Well being Centre by paramedics.
Police say officers adopted the ambulance to the hospital the place they decided the driving force was impaired and an arrest was made.
“Due to their condition, the rider was unable to provide a breath sample so a demand for blood was made. The rider refused to comply with the demand,” OPP said.

A 33-year-old man from Curve Lake First Nation was arrested and charged with operation whereas impaired, operation whereas prohibited, driving whereas below suspension and failure to adjust to a requirement.
The automobile was impounded for 45 days.
