Seven individuals had been despatched to hospital following two crashes on Freeway 115 close to Pontypool on Sunday evening
Whitby OPP say round 6:45 p.m. a automobile first rolled within the southbound lanes simply south of Boundary Highway. Moments later three different autos collided.
Police say the driving force of the rolled automobile was air lifted to a trauma centre and a passenger taken by ambulance to hospital, each with potential life-altering accidents.
Paramedics transported three different passengers with non-life threatening accidents.
Two passengers within the second collision had been transported with minor accidents.
All southbound lanes had been closed at Boundary Highway till about 2 a.m. Monday.
OPP are interesting to witnesses as they proceed to analyze.
