A 33-year-old from Perth, Ont., has been charged after a sexual assault was reported in Lanark County, based on police.
The sexual assault was reported to the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022. On account of the following investigation, one individual has now been charged, police stated in a press launch on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022.
In accordance with the Lanark County OPP, Dillon Lowry, 33, of the City of Perth, has been charged with sexual assault. Lowry is scheduled to seem within the Ontario Court docket of Justice in Perth on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.
The Lanark County Detachment of the OPP wouldn’t say the place or when the sexual assault occurred, nor if the sufferer and Lowry are recognized to at least one one other. In response to inquiries from Kingstonist, police wouldn’t expose whether or not Lowry was arrested and/or stays in custody, Lowry’s occupation on the time the fees had been laid, or whether or not the sexual assault concerned violence outdoors of the sexual assault and/or concerned weapons.
“As the matter is now before the courts, no further details will be released,” Appearing Sargeant Joe Tereschuk stated in an e mail.
