The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says a 33-year-old man is dealing with a number of charges after two folks have been shot by a pellet gun downtown Perth, Ont. on April 24.
Police say they acquired a name round 8:00 p.m. reporting a person had shot two folks by a pellet gun in a car parking zone on Gore Avenue earlier than working away.
Although police weren’t capable of finding the person the identical day, h weas arrested on Thursday in the course of the execution of a search warrant on Gore Avenue by the OPP crime Unit, supported by the OPP Techniques and Rescue Unit (TRU).
The suspect was arrested with out incident.
He has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault inflicting bodily hurt, pointing a firearm, personating a peace officer, possession of a firearm opposite to a prohibition order and two counts of fail to adjust to a probation order.
The 33-year-old suspect stays in custody.
He’s is scheduled to seem on the Ontario Court docket of Justice in Perth on Monday.
