Crews responded to scene close to the city of Atwood at round 8 p.m. Sunday

NORTH PERTH – A pedestrian has died after a collision in North Perth final evening.

On Oct 12 at round 8 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), together with Perth County Paramedic Companies, and the North Perth Fireplace Division, responded to a collision on Perth Street 164 (Freeway 23), simply north of Line 77, North Perth, close to the city of Atwood.

Police say a pedestrian had been struck on the roadway.

The pedestrian, an 83-year-old North Perth resident, was pronounced deceased on the scene.

There have been no different accidents reported on account of the collision, police stated in a information launch.

The realm of Perth Street 164 between Line 78 and Line 75 was closed for the safety of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation, however has since reopened.
