According to Frontenac OPP, the incident occurred shortly after 12:15 a. m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, on Wilmer Road in Perth Road Village.
The driver, who is a 28-year-old from Perth Road, was the only person in the vehicle. Authorities report that this individual was rushed to the hospital with injuries described as potentially life-altering and dangerous.
Emergency services including Perth County Paramedic Services, South Frontenac Fire and Rescue, along with OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Reconstructionist were present at the site.
Wilmer Road was shut down for several hours while initial investigations took place but has since been reopened.
