NORTH PERTH – One individual has been charged in relation to a fraud investigation within the Municipality of North Perth.
On Jan. 27, 2025, members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched an investigation after receiving data that an organization was defrauded of over $50,000 by a former worker.
On account of the investigation, 33-year-old Torie Machan of Monkton, Ont. was charged with:
• Fraud Over $5,000 opposite to the Felony Code of Canada.
Machan is scheduled to seem earlier than the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Stratford on March 10, 2025.
