PERTH EAST – A person was pronounced deceased following a collision involving a single snowmobile that collided with a tree within the Township of Perth East.
On Jan. 26, 2025, members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) together with Perth County Emergency Medical Companies and Perth East Fireplace Division attended a collision on the path close to Perth Street 140.
The 18-year-old male driver and was transported to a neighborhood trauma centre the place he was pronounced deceased.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Membership path between Perth Street 135 and Street 140 was closed whereas the OPP Technical Collision Investigation have been on scene investigating the collision. The path has since been re-opened, however the investigation is ongoing.
