A vigil to honour the Ottawa woman killed in what police are calling a devastating case of femicide is deliberate for Tuesday night.

On Thursday at round 11:25 a.m., police responded to stories a lady had been stabbed at a park close to Uplands and Paul Anka drives in Ottawa.

Deputy Chief Trish Ferguson informed reporters Friday that Berhe, a mom of 4, had been within the park with two of her youngsters when the assault occurred.

“Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries that morning in front of two of her children,” Ferguson mentioned.
