Two employees obtained critical burns Wednesday when {the electrical} panels they have been engaged on in an Alta Vista constructing began arcing and caught fireplace.

The Ottawa Paramedic Service reported the employees have been taken to hospital with critical, however non-life-threatening burns.

The incident occurred at round 12 midday in a 15-storey residence constructing within the 1600 block of Playfair Drive, close to Kilborn Avenue.
