OTTAWA – Ottawa police say 4 youth suspects are in custody after two folks had been injured in an alleged assault with an edged weapon at a highschool Monday morning.
Police say officers responded to a report of an assault at Hillcrest Excessive Faculty within the metropolis’s east finish simply after 9 a.m.
They are saying two victims had been critically injured within the alleged assault, and each at the moment are in secure situation on the hospital.
Police say they put the varsity beneath lockdown as they performed a search to “guarantee the protection of all college students.”
They are saying they arrested one youth suspect upon arrival, and three extra had been situated and arrested through the search.
The lockdown has since ended and police say there is no such thing as a menace to public security, however the college stays in a “safe” state.
