OTTAWA, Ont. – For the third year in a row, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s top Cup Series is coming back to Ottawa, Ontario, with the PBR Ottawa Classic at Canadian Tire Centre on June 13, 2026.

The PBR Ottawa Classic will hold special importance as it is one of only three PBR Canada Cup Series events happening in Ontario during the 2026 individual season.

PBR Canada’s Cup Series set records in eleven cities last year, drawing over 75,000 fans. It regularly showcases Canada’s finest riders alongside some of the best international athletes, all competing against the toughest bucking bulls from across the country.

For one night only, spectators will experience thrilling 8-second rides and unexpected spills throughout this action-filled event as courageous bull-riders take on their massive opponents weighing up to 1,800 pounds.

This event will be the sixth of the regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series in 2026.

<p When the Cup Series last visited Ottawa in June 2025, it drew a record-setting crowd. Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan) delivered an impressive performance by going 2-for-2 and scoring a huge 90-point ride to claim victory at Canadian Tire Centre.

As Round 1 began, Parsonage faced Red Rust (Vold Rodeo). He scored an impressive 85 points on that ride which secured him a spot in the championship round tied for third place.

With an early choice during the final round’s bull draft, Parsonage chose to go against Moonwalk (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) as his final opponent inside the home arena of NHL’s Ottawa Senators.

Parsonage executed a flawless ride and scored an amazing 90 points to secure his win. This outstanding performance was among three rides scoring over 90 points in Canada during that regular season where both he and Moonwalk finished at the top of their categories.

Thanks to his stellar finish, Parsonage earned vital national points-205 to be exact. He climbed from No. 6 to No. 3 in national standings and was just 332.17 points away from then No. 1 Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan).

Other past winners of PBR Canada Cup Series events held in Ottawa include: Boudreaux Campbell (2024 – Crockett, Texas); Austin Richardson (2018 – Dallas, Texas); Cody Casper (2017 – Pacific, Washington) and Brant Atwood (2016 – Pampa, Texas).

The bull riding action for the upcoming PBR Canada Cup Series’ Ottawa Classic kicks off at 7:00 p. m. EST on Saturday, June 13.

Tickets for this exciting event will be available starting Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a. m. EST with prices starting at $30; standard ticketing fees may apply. Tickets can be purchased at Canadian Tire Centre Box Office or online through Ticketmaster. ca.
