Ottawa Police and the Ottawa Security Council are reminding drivers and trick-or-treaters to be alert and keep protected on the roads Halloween night time.


With hundreds of youngsters getting ready to go out throughout Ottawa on Thursday night time, drivers are being warned to be looking out for kids on the streets and put away the distractions.


“Residential areas will be busy that night, so slow down your speeds,” Jamie Kwong, government director of the Ottawa Security Council, instructed CTV Morning Stay.


“Look out for kids behind cars; kids will be unpredictable that day.”


Police say drivers ought to drive slowly by means of residential neighbourhoods and be able to cease.  


“Let’s do bright costumes”


Whereas some Halloween costumes could also be black or different darkish colors, police and the Ottawa Security Council say all costumes ought to be seen to motorists.
