Highway 17 in Pembroke, just north of Ottawa, was closed for the entire afternoon following a two-car accident that resulted in one motorist’s death.

Paul Martin Drive was completely shut down after the unfortunate incident, which occurred shortly before noon, and stayed closed until just after 7 p. m.

No additional information has been provided by the OPP, who expressed gratitude to the public for their “understanding and cooperation.”
