The Ottawa Police Service says two adults and a young person are going through a number of charges following a kidnapping, theft and extortion incident that occurred final month in Orleans.
Police say a youth was allegedly “picked up by a suspect and pushed to a residence in Orleans,” on Oct. 21.
“The sufferer was confined to the residence, assaulted and filmed because the accused people demanded cash,” police mentioned in a media launch on Friday.
The sufferer was capable of run away the following day and notify somebody, asking to name police.
On Oct. 25, Ottawa police’s theft unit arrested and charged a 17-year-old in relation to the incident.
Police executed a search warrant on the residence on Nov. 25 and located proof that helped them arrest and cost two extra suspects from Ottawa.
All three suspects have been charged with forceable confinement, kidnapping, possession of a weapon, theft and possession of kid pornography.
