The Ottawa chapter of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) is providing a special opportunity to explore how security and acoustic opening assemblies are made, featuring a technical presentation followed by a guided tour of the AMBICO facility.
This event is set for Thursday, Sept. 24, and offers attendees a chance to learn about the design, testing, and production of these unique products, according to the event details.
Organizers mention that the session will include a technical presentation centered on acoustic design testing and production. The talk will also address practical performance factors such as sound reduction, fire safety, security measures, and ADA compliance.
After the presentation, participants will enjoy a behind-the-scenes guided tour of AMBICO’s manufacturing plant located in Ottawa. A light lunch will be served for those attending.
Please note that space for this specialized tour is very limited. Organizers indicate there are only 20 spots available for in-person attendance and encourage interested professionals to register early to avoid missing out.
Online registration is now open. Attendees are reminded by organizers to take advantage of this exclusive tour and choose the CSC member pricing option when purchasing their tickets.
