There are several photo opportunities for fans with dedicated spots featuring an illuminated “OFW” sign and some cutouts of lacrosse players scattered throughout.
The Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame can also be found within this concourse area.
This hall is open on Wednesday afternoons and during Generals games but wasn’t accessible during my visit for Fire Wolves events.
The walls around this area showcase sketches of Hall of Fame members while inside there are plenty of artifacts related to sports from Oshawa. The playing surface runs east-west with fans best viewing logos from seats on the north side. The seating arrangement includes both lower bowl sections as well as upper-level club seating complete with suites. As things stand now it remains unclear how future renovations will expand capacity up to that target number of seven thousand. A four-sided videoboard hangs above center ice featuring LED rings around its perimeter. A day at Tribute Communities Centre feels more understated compared to other NLL venues. Music plays during gameplay chosen by DJ Sweet Lou stationed in northwest corner while sound quality remains solid making announcements clear enough for all attendees. The PA announcer adopts more traditional hockey-style commentary focusing mostly on announcements instead engaging fans through chants during playtime. When Fire Wolves score there’s often accompanied by loud train whistle followed by Nickelback’s “Burn It To The Ground.” During breaks you’ll see performances by Firewolves Fury Dance Team alongside pre-game player introductions while they dance around different locations including right near Prospects Bar & Grill where most spectators gather prior matches. The mascot Alphie gets involved too carrying flags onto court before events taking time out interactively engaging supporters cheering loudly throughout games!</ neighborhood >

Stadium Info FANFARE Score: 3.43
Tribute Communities Centre Capacity: 5,180 (6,125 including SRO)East Side Fire
In 2021, the Toronto Rock relocated from Toronto to Hamilton. One of the biggest concerns with this shift was that fans on the east side of Toronto would have to travel further to catch top-level professional lacrosse. In 2025, a solution emerged with the Albany Fire Wolves moving to Oshawa. Located 63 km east of downtown Toronto, Oshawa is roughly equidistant from Hamilton. The history of the Fire Wolves traces back to the original Philadelphia Wings, who were part of the Eagle Pro Box Lacrosse League-now known as the National Lacrosse League-starting in 1987. The Wings shifted to Connecticut in 2015 and then moved to Albany in 2021 as the Fire Wolves. The Fire Wolves play at Tribute Communities Centre. Established in 2006 and primarily home to the Oshawa Generals of the OHL, this former General Motors Centre is set for renovations aimed at increasing its capacity from 5,100 to 7,000. This means that currently, it’s the smallest venue in the league. Still, Oshawa has a rich lacrosse tradition and a solid junior scene.Food & Beverage 3
Several concession stands are available on the main concourse offering a typical range of arena food options. Menu choices include pizza from Pizza Pizza, burgers, hot dogs, sausage, fries, poutine, chicken fingers, popcorn, nachos, and candy. Soft drinks include Coca-Cola products along with coffee , tea , and slushies. There’s also a fair selection of alcoholic beverages like Budweiser , Bud Light , Michelob Ultra , Alexander Keith’s IPA , Stella Artois , Corona , Mill Street Organic , various seltzers , and wine. Prospects Bar & Grill is a full-service sit-down restaurant located on the north side of the arena that offers views over the floor. Reservations are recommended for window seating. p> p >Atmosphere
