A subsidiary of the Oshawa Power Group of Companies has entered into a partnership as a minority stakeholder in Brass Inc., a complete utility solutions firm based in Scugog Township.
This collaboration between the Utica, Ontario company and Ener FORGE, an expert in energy and communications infrastructure efficiency, is seen as an “early and significant milestone” for the Oshawa Power Group’s recently introduced strategic plan that emphasizes new partnerships.
“This investment reflects a … commitment to being a trusted partner and a leader in the energy sector, while supporting the government of Ontario’s efforts to deliver on electrification and expand and deliver more energy projects across the province,” said Daniel Arbour, president and CEO of Oshawa Power Group of Companies.
According to Ener FORGE Managing Director Doug Proska, this partnership is expected to create added value, enhance customer relationships, and drive growth.
“This partnership is about working with the right people to make a meaningful impact. We intend to create lasting relationships built on trust and quality services. The opportunities are there and we intend to meet them head-on.”
Brass Inc., located just west of Port Perry, is well-regarded for its expertise in providing general contracting services for utilities in hydro, communication, and underground solutions.
“Brass Inc. is a family and legacy business and Ener FORGE has demonstrated they mirror our values. We recognize the market is evolving and this partnership further enables Brass to evolve with it,” said Brass Inc. President Adam Riewald.
