Sewer break closes lanes on main Oshawa street | INdurham
A flooded road is inflicting visitors woes for commuters on Friday night time (Oct. 4) in Oshawa.
A sewer break is pouring water onto Simcoe Avenue South from Lloyd Avenue to John Avenue.
The sewer break occurred round 7:30 p.m. All northbound lanes will stay closed.
Metropolis officers are at present on the scene repairing the sewer break.
Durham Regional Police is advising residents to hunt various routes within the meantime.
Durham police will take to social media platform X (previously Twitter) to inform when the street might be re-opened.
