Cobourg Police report that a 26-year-old man from Oshawa has been charged in relation to two thefts from the same store earlier this month.
Officers were called to a shoplifting incident on Oct. 21 around 8 p. m. at a business on Strathy Road, where they found and arrested the suspect in the parking lot.
According to police, store employees recognized the individual from a previous theft that took place on Oct. 12 at the same location.
After an investigation, police charged the 26-year-old with two counts of theft under $5,000. He was released from custody and is set to appear in court on Dec. 3.
