Kaden Pitre contributed with one goal and one assist while Shamar Moses added another goal. Goaltender Cole Vreugdenhil had an impressive debut, recording 32 saves, many of which were highlight-worthy.

The Battalion improved their record to 23-16-2 for 48 points after defeating Sudbury Wolves at home just a day earlier. They currently sit second in the Central Division.

Coach Ryan Oulahen brought his OHL coaching record to even at 245-245. He has been leading the Battalion since December 10, 2019 and holds a record of 193-121-27 over his tenure with them after previously going 52-84-13 with Flint Firebirds over two-plus seasons.
