If you’re in the mood for great tunes and amazing performances, get ready! The 2025 Durham Region Battle of the Bands is happening at the BOND|ST Event Centre (44 Bond Street East) in Oshawa this Saturday, November 15. This is a fantastic chance to cheer on local musicians and support a worthy cause.
The evening will be filled with energetic performances, impressive guitar solos, and vocal skills from fresh talent coming out of Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, and the Greater Toronto Area. You won’t want to miss this exciting night where 10 of Durham’s finest rock, alternative, indie, and metal bands will compete for a grand prize of $1,000 and the title of Durham’s top band.
This live music competition not only showcases local talent but also helps our community through this year’s chosen charity, Feed the Need in Durham. All ticket sales will benefit this charity that has been distributing emergency food to those who need it most-handing out two million pounds of food each year for over ten years. They’ll also be collecting nonperishable food donations at the door during this year’s event.
