Two males have been charged with drug trafficking and weapons offences following a confrontation in Oshawa that led to a 9-1-1 name on Sunday night time.
Durham Police say officers responded to the world of Simcoe St. South and John St. round 10:25 p.m., after a witness reported seeing two males following and confronting a lone male.
When officers arrived, they shortly positioned these concerned and located two folks in possession of medicine and weapons together with cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, a collapsible baton, Taser and knives.
Officers didn’t specify which of the 2 males concerned within the confrontation have been arrested.
Omari Anderson, 25, of York, faces a number of charges together with failure to adjust to a launch order, possession of a weapon harmful to public peace, possession of a prohibited weapon and trafficking in Schedule I substances.
Steven MacCarthy, 28, of Oshawa, is charged with breach of probation, possession of a weapon harmful to public peace and trafficking in Schedule I substances.
Each suspects have been held for a bail listening to.
