Stories of over a dozen gunshots in an Ontario city has police trying to find an armed suspect north of Oshawa.
Durham Regional Police say the taking pictures occurred round 3 a.m. Peace Road and Davidson Road in Cannington, roughly 55 kilometres north of Oshawa.
Investigators say officers had been referred to as about “an armed person” within the space, and over a dozen gunshots had been reported.
Police have launched an audio recording of the taking pictures and say a sequence of six photographs could be heard adopted by a short pause and one other 9 gunshots.
On Monday, December 16, 2024, at roughly 3 a.m., members of North Division responded to the realm of Peace Road and Davidson Road in Cannington for an armed individual, after a sequence of gun photographs had been heard.

A taking pictures scene was situated and police say officers recovered shell casings. No accidents had been reported and the taking pictures is believed to be an remoted incident, police mentioned.
Investigators are asking anybody with details about the taking pictures or video footage of the incident to come back ahead to police.
