It’s with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceable passing of our expensive father, Silvio Sante Brusco on November 19, 2024, in his eighty fifth 12 months. Silvio was born on September 27, 1939, to Nicolino and Maddalena Brusco in L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy, and was a beloved brother to Maria Pia, Ornella, and Virgilio.
Silvio is now reunited with the love of his life, Marcella (nee Franchi), with whom he was married for 53 fantastic years. Collectively, they had been the very proud dad and mom of their two sons, Nicolino (Enza), and Armando (Denise). Silvio was a faithful grandfather to Gabriella, Sabrina, Matthew and Maddeline. He shall be enormously missed by his many prolonged relations and associates.
Silvio’s family and friends will keep in mind him as a form, light & caring man who created a greater life for his household right here in Canada. He at all times gave everybody he knew the advantage of the doubt and would persevere by way of hardship, regardless of the scenario he discovered himself in. He was a person of nice energy, and ensured everybody he encountered was handled like household.
Silvio was very inquisitive, he took nice curiosity in studying, historical past and geography. He loved spending time along with his family and friends, and at all times discovered the time to be along with his grandchildren and assist their many extracurricular actions.
He beloved sports activities, particularly soccer, and even performed rugby as a teen. He appreciated the arduous work and resilience the athletes would present of their nice accomplishments. Silvio beloved to journey, and to be close to the mountains or on the seaside. He by no means forgot the place he got here from, however he grew to like Canada dearly and regarded it to be his dwelling.

Household and associates shall be acquired on the Ward Funeral Residence (4671 Freeway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass shall be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, at St. Peter’s Parish (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge). Entombment to comply with at Westminster Cemetery.
