MCMURRAY, Sean Christian: At Fairhaven Dwelling in Peterborough Ontario, on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in his sixty fifth yr. Sean, beloved husband of twenty- two years to Brenda McMurray (nee Johnstone).
Loving and devoted father of Caelan McMurray. Expensive brother of Janet McQuarrie (Steven), and Shelley Ogden (Mark), and brother-in-law to Glen Johnstone (Stephanie Fortin-Johnstone). Loving uncle of Joshua Ogden (Laura) and Addam Ogden (Laura) and Amelia Johnstone and Alex Johnstone. Nice uncle to Molly, Sam and Charlotte (Ogden) and Ava, Zoey and Andie (Ogden).
Sean was employed for a few years as a forester with the Ministry of Pure Sources. He loved singing within the Northland Males’s Barbershop Refrain and along with his quartet, the Good Intentions in Sault Ste. Marie. Since transferring to Peterborough in 2008, Sean and Brenda had been energetic members of St. John’s Anglican Church. Sean was a lay reader for the Anglican Church of Canada, a Director with the Canadian Institute of Forestry (Sault Ste. Marie Chapter) and a HAM radio operator. Sean cherished the outside, images, and his many hobbies corresponding to wooden working and stained glass.
Kinfolk and pals are invited to Sean’s Funeral Service in St. John’s Anglican Church, Brock Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, January twenty fifth, 2025 at 2:00pm.
