With great sadness we share the news of Sandra Kathleen Viklen (Nee Just) passing away at the age of 78 on August 20th 2026 at the TBRH, surrounded by her family.
Sandra was born in Port Arthur and spent her childhood in Marathon before moving back to Port Arthur in 1965, where she raised her two children. She loved working at the Fort William Gardens, caring for her two grandchildren, sewing, and cooking delicious meals for family and friends. Sandra also enjoyed spending time at Obonga Lake and wintering in Florida (while bundled up in three sweaters).
Sandra is fondly remembered by her husband Dennis, who she was married to for 59 years, her daughter Kathleen (John), grandchildren Shaye and Kylee (Andrew), sister Joanne (Paul), brother Ted (Carol), along with nieces and nephews, extended family, her loyal dog Chase, and many close friends.
Sandra is predeceased by her parents Irvin and June Just as well as her son David Viklen.
