It’s with heavy hearts the household proclaims the passing of their dad on January ninth, 2025 at Highcrest Nursing Dwelling in Sherbrooke on the age of 88.
Invoice was born in Goldenville on April ninth, 1936. He was the son of the late William and Mae Cameron (O’Hara)
Invoice was a resident of Denver, Guysborough County for 49 years and lived the final 4 years at Highcrest Dwelling in Sherbrooke.
He began working at a younger age along with his father within the woods, after which later grew to become a truck driver who travelled throughout Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
Working for a lot of trucking corporations and logging contractors over time, Dad’s final employment was with L & E Contracting Ltd and Archibald’s Dairy Farm.
Throughout Dad’s livelihood he at all times had a ardour for horses, upon his retirement, he continued on along with his ardour for horses.
Invoice is survived by daughters Kim, Plymouth; Karen, New Glasgow; Kathi, Kingston, Ontario; Tracy (Tommy) Antigonish; sons Billy (Jackie), Ontario; John (Lynn), Riverton; Craig (Angie), Lochaber; grandchildren Cara, Lindsey, Adrienne, Jakob, Brittany, Sadie, Isla, and Taylor; great-granddaughter Lilah.
Invoice was predeceased by his mother and father William and Mae Cameron, son Scott, brothers Daniel (in Infancy) and Hughie.; sisters Theresa, Martha and Laura.
There will probably be no visitation as per request, Funeral service will probably be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 2 pm in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen with Derek Elsworth officiating. Burial will probably be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
Household flowers solely. Donations in his reminiscence could also be made to the SPCA or Charity of alternative.
Preparations are beneath the course of H W Angus Funeral Dwelling, New Glasgow.
The household wish to thank the workers at Highcrest Nursing Dwelling, Sherbrooke for the distinctive compassion and care given to Dad over the previous 4 years.
